🎲Our events are at their best when everyone feels welcome, respected, and safe. We all play a part in creating a friendly environment where people can relax, connect, and enjoy games together. These six principles can help us make every Tablero event a positive experience for everyone.
- Respect Each Other
Encourage and support fellow players, and help create a welcoming atmosphere. Avoid mocking, ridiculing, or making anyone uncomfortable, even unintentionally. Keeping conversations and jokes appropriate helps everyone feel included. - Respect the Games
Please handle game boxes and pieces with care. Avoid bending cards or spilling liquids on components, and choose snacks that are not messy or greasy when possible. When a game is finished, help return all components to the box so they are ready for the next group. - Respect the Group
Let us know whether you’re attending and approximately when you expect to arrive and leave. This helps us plan games, make the most of our playing time, and reduce interruptions, restarts, or last-minute changes. When joining a game, please plan to play through to the end whenever possible. Staying engaged, especially during strategic games, helps everyone enjoy the experience. Minimizing distractions such as phone calls and unrelated conversations also supports the group.
- Respect Personal Space and Boundaries
Be mindful of personal space and avoid touching anyone inappropriately. Everyone has the right to set their own boundaries. If someone raises an open palm to signal that you’ve crossed a line, please respect that signal right away and give them space. - Respect Privacy
Contact details shared in the Tablero WhatsApp group are intended for group-related communication. Please don’t use them for unsolicited advertisements, promotions, photos, or messages. - Support Accessibility and Participation
Help make it possible for everyone to take part. Be patient with different communication styles, learning speeds, and levels of gaming experience. Where reasonably possible, work together to accommodate accessibility needs and make adjustments that support full participation.
Our Shared Commitment
These principles complement the standards in the Tablero Code of Conduct and reflect our shared responsibility for making Tablero a place where everyone can enjoy games, build friendships, and participate comfortably.
Please refer to the Tablero Code of Conduct for more details about our standards, expectations, reporting options, and how concerns are addressed.
Thank you for helping make Tablero a welcoming, inclusive, and enjoyable place for everyone to play! 🎲
